The MIAM, Musée International des Arts Modestes, created by Bernard Belluc and Hervé Di Rosa in Sète (South of France) is celebrating its 20th anniversary! Before being a museum, the Arts Modestes was a gallery, the Galerie de l’Art Modeste, created by the Di Rosa brothers and Hervé Perdriolle in Paris in 1989. A new adventure begins with the opening of the Modesti Perdriolle (!) Gallery in Brussels in September 2021
Thanks to Bruno Decharme's donation of more than 900 works of art brut, Jean-Daniel Allanche joins the collections of the Centre Pompidou after those of the American Folk Art Museum in New York in 2018. You can discover the works of this extraordinary artist in our online catalogue.
Works by Acharya Vyakul, Anonymous Tantra Paintings, Raphaël Lonné and Jivya Soma Mashe are featured in the exhibition 'Dans un pli du temps' (Within a Fold of Time) at the Art et Marges Museum in Brussels from 7 October 2021 to 13 March 2021.
